A 19-year-old who admitted starting a series of wheelie bin fires in Aylesbury has been sent to prison for two years.
David Butler, of Albert Street, Aylesbury, was sentenced at Aylesbury Crown Court on Friday. He had admitted eight charges of arson between 2005 and 2007, with five others taken into consideration. Most were in the Tring Road area of the town, near where he lived.
He was caught after a joint investigation led by Sergeant David Grainger and Acting Sergeant Joe Banfield of Thames Valley Police, and Karen Lock from Buckinghamshire Fire & Rescue Service's Arson Task Force.
